Its 2:30 on a Friday and my boss said we can leave early.
I used to sell beer accessories at my last job. Here is a list of cities that residents told me is “like the craft beer capitol of America”
San Diego
Houston
Portland
Milwaukee
Boise
Seattle
Raleigh
Los Angeles
Austin
OK City
Columbus
Denver
and many, many more!
Well guess what, sheeple, its not just your city, and your city’s craft beer is nothing special:
Anyway, what is your favorite local craft beer, Opponaut?

I haven’t nailed down 100% which of
one of the local brewer
’s products is my favorite, but I have established that it isn’t one of the ones that the local groceries carry. Bah. Wait, this is an excuse to go to the brewery, why am I complaining?

Milwaukee Brewing (MKE) - Louie’s Resurrection
An Amber Ale aged in bourbon barrels...mmmm...so good
And I wouldn’t say Milwaukee is the craft beer capital, but we are probably tops or close to in how much beer we drink

Richmond has, like, 10 craft breweries, and lots more within a 2-hour drive. Of the truly local ones, i’d have to say Hardywood is my favorite.

Local? That would be No-Li Brewery’s Born and Raised IPA, but my absolute favorite (ignoring stuff that you requires you to know the secret handshake to buy) is Deschutes Brewery’s Inversion IPA.

One of my favorite craft brewers is New Glarus Brewing Company. But their products are distributed only within Wisconsin. So I make sure to drink liberally whenever I’m visiting from Washington.

Definitely agree with Oakshire > Ninkasi. Also, I enjoy Coldfire, but I might be biased because it’s both a friends brewery, and because the Haybaby food truck with it’s delicious bacon and avocado burger are usually there.

I just haven’t spent enough time at Coldfire or drank enough of their beer. I love the outlay of that place and I have liked the beers I’ve had. I took my toddler there a couple weekends ago and the little play area is good.
